Why SOLO?
Fresh breath won't save you from tooth decay! A normal toothbrush cannot clean hard-to-reach areas properly. Tooth decay, periodontitis and damaged gums, sensitivity to heat and cold - these are the consequences of brushing with a traditional toothbrush. The future of dental prevention is the SOLO system, which helps to maintain healthy teeth without negative side effects.
How does SOLO work?
Smooth tooth surfaces clean themselves when you eat and speak, so there's no need to brush them. However, as much as 95% of plaque accumulates in the gums and along the gum line. SOLO's simple solution to "decontaminate" the plaque that accumulates during the day:
1. The special cone-shaped SWING brush is used to remove plaque along the gums in an oval-shaped motion by pressing and spreading the brush on the tooth, without damaging the gums (a regular or electric brush that is too stiff can "brush off" the gums when brushing vigorously!). You should only change the brush when you feel with your tongue that the teeth are not slippery after brushing, i.e. the bacteria are not completely removed (usually every 6-12 months).
2. Clean the bulbous interdental spaces (yes, the teeth in the interdental spaces are not round, but concave) with the correct size SOLO-STIX interdental brushes. The interdental floss is good at removing food debris from the interdental spaces, but does not reach the tooth walls - this requires interdental brushes. Even if the gums are already inflamed (bleeding), if you start brushing them with the right size brush, the inflammation will be gone within 4-5 days.
The correct SOLO brushing technique SWING with a single toothbrush will be taught and the correct size of interdental brushes will be best selected by SOLO certified clinicians.
